We’re looking for a top notch engineer for visual shopping search. We have a gigantic database of products with their images. You’ll be working on advanced technologies to improve the customer user experience on various types of visual search on these images. You’ll be looking through the cutting edge work in computer vision, and inventing some stuff yourself to solve relevance problems at this scale. Background in machine learning is required since it’ll be heavily involved. Work will require algorithmic innovation, as well as implementing and deploying solution in production.

Requirements:

  • PhD in computer science or a master’s degree with equivalent experience. PhD in computer vision is ideal.
  • Domain expertise in computer vision or image processing. Skills in object detection, recognition, and/or tracking are a plus.
  • Machine learning, information retrieval, or data mining is a plus.
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Excellent communication skills, solid work ethic, and a strong desire to write production-quality code
