Roles and Responsibility :

KLA-Tencor is seeking applications for an algorithm engineer in eBeam wafer inspection and review division. This position involves developing advanced image processing algorithms to detect and classify defects captured in SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) images, then implementing the algorithms into high value and high quality features of a complex system by working with other functional groups.

Investigation:  Investigate techniques for improving various aspects of processing of eBeam images, including image quality, detection and classification.  Perform analysis and conduct experiments to evaluate the values  and risks of the developed techniques.

Algorithm development:  Implement the developed algorithms in high quality code and drive it to a successful product feature.  

Interface: Work with Marketing, Characterization and Applications and Systems Engineering departments to determine the use cases, requirements and success metrics.

Qualifications:
Strong background in image processing, machine vision or related fields 
Strong software development skills
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Drive and perseverance to champion a project from inception to completion.
