Position Hiring:  Computer Vision Research Intern

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our computer vision group in extending our capabilities in the computer vision space. Candidates should have state-of-the-art computer vision know-how and deep understanding of recognition and tracking problems in object recognition, image registration, panoramic stitching, stereo vision, structure from motion, etc.

Here's a sample of the problems you may be working on during your internship with us:

- Work on the next generation of augmented reality apps utilizing gyro, compass, and GPS

- Research and build out a content management backend capable of handling millions of items in the database for real time recognition.

Who we are looking for:

- Experience in any of the following fields: Object recognition, tracking, localization, text detection and recognition (OCR), barcode processing, structure from motion, linear algebra, 3D geometry.

- Experience in mobile robotics (with topics such as 2D/3D SLAM or tracking) and with camera systems (calibration, real-time vision) is a plus.

- Machine Learning experience is a plus.

- EE signal processing experience is a plus.

Requirements

- Proven coding experience with C/C++

- Hands on experience working and developing vision systems beyond MATLAB and coding actual products

- Ability to work in our Los Angeles offices.
