Two Postdoctoral Research Fellow (RF) and Research Assistant (RA) positions in computer vision & machine learning are available immediately at the Visual Computing research group (http://vc.sce.ntu.edu.sg/index.htm) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Our current research activities focus on four areas: 1) Internet Vision and Social Media, 2) Video and Event Analysis, 3) Biometrics, and 4) Machine Learning for Vision. The successful candidates are expected to conduct research in an area that synergizes with our current activities. Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant discipline (electronic engineering, computer engineering or applied mathematics) and have established a strong research profile in computer vision and machine learning (as evidenced by publications in top quality journals or conferences). This position is initially available for a period of one year with the possibility of extension for another year. Successful candidates can expect a very competitive salary and benefits.
