Key Role:
Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to a Government Research and Development program focused on image and video processing and computer vision. Advise the Government Program Manager on the progress of research efforts and associated test and evaluation activities, ensuring these efforts remain on track towards satisfying program goals. Maintain an awareness of the state-of-the-art in computer vision technology and identify advances that impact the program. Participate in project site visits, review of deliverables, assessment of test results, and other activities focused on evaluating the progress of sponsored research. Foster collaboration with other R&D organizations, pursue opportunities for technology transfer, and assist with preparations for conferences, site visits, and other program events. Contribute to the preparation of program documentation and briefings, including program approval documents, research descriptions, and accomplishments reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with research in Computer Vision, 3D Reconstruction, Image/Video Registration, Pose Estimation, and Sensor Fusion
-Experience with research in cognitive biases
-Ability to proactively manage multiple, concurrent tasks
-Ability to commute to College Park, MD
-TS/SCI clearance
-MA or MS degree in CS, EE, or Applied Physics
 
Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-PhD degree preferred
 
Clearance:
