Epson R&D, located in San Jose, California, is focused on next generation digital imaging technologies for Epson’s wide range of professional and consumer imaging products, including projectors, color copier systems, large displays, mobile visual communications products, and novel sensing and imaging devices.

We are currently seeking research interns with a strong background in the following areas:

-           computer vision and graphics

-           machine learning and pattern recognition

-           large-scale image analysis

-           human-computer interaction

-           medical imaging and analysis

-           3D display and content creation

Minimum Qualifications:

-         Current Ph.D. candidate in EE/CS

-         be strongly motivated towards working on imaging or other sensing technologies

-         have strong analytical and C/C++ development skills

-         work well in teams and have good communication skills
